The third chapter in the Gulbenkian Orchestra’s very popular live performance of the Star Wars soundtrack. Inspired by classical and baroque motifs, John Williams created a series of themes associated with the main characters. However, in episode VI, The Return of the Jedi, he explores the new emotional nuances in the film, transforming the iconic Imperial March that accompanies Darth Vader into a denser and more complex composition, in line with the fate of the main character on the dark side of the Force. An unmissable show at the close of the original trilogy.
